Synthesis of N-Heterocycles using [3+2] Cycloaddition Reactions


Our lab is interested in the creation of new methods for synthesizing N-heterocycles using cycloadditions starting from tertiary amine N-oxides.


Using Computational Methods to Probe Chemical Mechanisms


How reactions occur can offer significant insight into the capabilities and limitations of a given chemical method. We make use of a combination of experimental observations and density functional theory computations to elucidate chemical mechanisms.
